WW1 Scrapbook - The scrapbook contains 75 pages of ww1 era newspaper clippings. It measures roughly 16" x 11" x1".
There are many combat photos, great shots of ordinance and the horrors of war.

of the photograph there is a inscription and it is dated 5/3/1916.

Company. Overall the cards are in very good condition. They are slightly bowed
but they always are.

WW1 French 3,7 cm Hotchkiss Shell - The shell measures 6 1/4" x 1 1/2"
- The bottom of the shell is marked " 37-85, 224, 1.18 (1918) PD.Ps
(Parc d'Artillerie de Paris) The fuse is not present.

WW1 US Soldier's Sterling Locket - The locket measures a little over 1
1/2" and roughly 5" when it is opened. The chain looks to have been
replaced at one time. The locket is marked "F & B Sterling" (Theodore
W. Foster and Bros. Providence, RI) The inscription on the back of the
locket reads "Sgt. Clarence S. Newcomer Co. 1. 316 Inf. U.S.A." If my
research is correct the soldier's son was a federal district court judge for over 33 years.

Miscellaneous Pre WW1 Edged Weapons
French Epée Modèl 1890 Bayonet - The blade measures 16". The bayonet fits the Berthier Model 1890 carbine rifle.
The numbers on the scabbard do not match the bayonet.

Portuguese Sword Bayonet - Austrian Steyr production model 1885 sword
bayonet for the Portuguese Kropatschek rifle. The bayonet measures 23
1/2" long with a 18 1/2" blade. The script on the blade is half worn
off but it reads Steyr 1886. The bayonet does not match the scabbard.
Usual banged up condition.
