German Edged Weapons

Heer Officer's Dagger w/ Hanger - The blade is marked "ALCOSO ACS
SOLINGEN". There are some surface scratches and spotting on the blade
but overall it is still very bright. The dagger was stored in a attic
for 60+ years so there are a few problems. You can see quite well in
the pictures where the crossguard covered the scabbard that the
nickel/silver plating on the scabbard and fittings has tarnished a
great deal. I am sure it will clean up somewhat but I do not know how
much of the original finish will remain. The handle is loose, the top
of the pommel is beat up and there are some very tiny paint specks on
the handle but they will come right off. Overall the hanger is in
pretty good shape. There is some damage to the green velvet backing,
it is a little dry and the fittings retain little of the original
nickel/silver plating. The retaining clips are a bit stiff but they
still function well. Nice winter project.
Item # BL97 $425.00

DRK Subordinate's Hewer - The blade is marked "Ges Geschutz" Overall
the hewer is in very good condition. There is some light surface scratches and a little
spotting on the blade but it is still very bright. The black enameled scabbard has
some light surface scratching as well but nothing real serious.
Item # BL35 $500.00

K98 Combat Bayonet w/ Frog - The manufacturer's code is "S/172.G"
(Solingen) The serial number is "3370 C" and matches the scabbard. The
blade retains a good amount of it's original bluing the rifle attachment button
still works  well and the wooden grips have nice color and no cracks. There is
old surface  rust on the pommel & scabbard but there is no severe pitting.
The hilt's steel spine looks like it was used as a hammer a few
times  and the frog has hardened slightly but is in good condition. I can see a
date on  the back of the frog "1943" but the manufactures name is hard to make out.
Nice bayonet for reenacting.
Item # BL36 $150.00
